Sunny Room in an Amazing Neighborhood
We have a bedroom available in a beautiful Park Slope apartment! The room has a big window, closet, and can fit a full/queen-sized bed and a small dresser. It also has its own little electric AC/heater unit (the only one in the apartment...the rest of us are jealous) so it stays nice & toasty in the winter and you won't have to worry about a window unit in the summer.
The apartment is a 3-BR/2-BA that features a big, open common area and a sparkly kitchen with a dishwasher and an insane amount of counter space. You would share a bathroom with one other roomie (the other is attached to a bedroom). Best of all, we have a (huge!) private roof deck with a view of the Manhattan skyline...crucial during quarantine. We live in front of a bus stop, two blocks from the F/G, three blocks from Prospect Park and, in normal-times, our neighborhood boasts coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, bars, and cute dogs galore.
We are two women, mid-twenties, both working from home during this unusual time. You'd be the third roomie! We've loved living here (one of us has been here five years) and aim to keep up the chill and communicative vibe. That said, we take COVID seriously. We're as safe as can be when we go out, and have limited visitors to our small bubble for now.
We'd just need a security deposit + first month's rent to move in. The room is currently $1,053 and utilities are $60-$70 per person per month. Flexible terms. We are month-to-month but would prefer someone longer term.
Important: we've got a sweet lil cat, so unfortunately this won't work if you're allergic!
