I am looking for 1 female roommate for a standalone house in Alexandria, VA. There is no carpet, but fully wood floors and tiles instead. There is plenty of natural light and a fenced yard to garden in and a patio. The house sits on 0.39 acres. The rooms will be available for rent starting in August 2022 and ending in July 2023 with the option for renewal.
~ About the House/Location ~
The rent is $850. There is a shared bathroom with another roommate. The landlord is currently updating the kitchen appliances, and already has installed the stove/oven and the dishwasher, and will be updating the dishwasher, and fridge soon. Utilities are around $90 - $200 depending on the season. The house is close to the Van Dorn Metro Station, Huntington Metro Station, Franconia/Springfield Metro Station, and right across from Edison High School, where a bus stop is located. It is also close to the Rose Hill Shopping Center, Kingstowne, Springfield Mall, Old Town Alexandria, Edison High School, the highway, and Fairfax County Parkway. There is parking in the driveway and plenty of street parking.
~ About the House Community~
I would like to create a group dynamic by sharing meals and doing group projects. There are also chores that each housemate is responsible for weekly to keep the place nice - the goal is to have a community space with friends where we live peacefully. I am fine with someone who keeps themselves busy with work and other activities, as long as they are following the house rules, such as keeping up with chores, and are respectful.
I don't throw raging parties, but I like to have backyard BBQing, bonfires, or going on nature hikes. I am interested in sustainable/frugal living including recycling, composting, using rainwater for the garden, keeping expenses low, etc. I have a good relationship with the landlord (who lives nearby).

I am a practicing Muslim female in my late 20's. I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, parkour, and yoga. I don't drink, or smoke, I am clean and friendly. Currently, I work for FRESHFARM as a Market Manager and for PK Move as an Assistant Parkour Coach.

I am looking for a female roommate(s) who are relaxed, are interested in gardening, sustainable living, take COVID precautions seriously, and keep a clean house. In addition, for a roommate who doesn't do drugs, drink alcohol, and throw big parties.
