The Space:

Great 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the 4th floor of a pre-war brick building (lots of fun original details like molding and claw-foot tub) in Astoria. We will share a full bath (with plenty of storage and deep tub), living room (good size with natural light) and kitchen (fully equipped and lots of storage!). Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, so no feeling like you are on top of your roommate. Your bedroom will be located at the front of the apartment (facing a courtyard) and is 8.5 x 10. Room comfortably fits a full bed, small desk, and large dresser. Could also be configured to fit a queen bed and dresser. No closet in the room but you will have your own large closet in the living room.

The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located on a quiet block on 28th Ave, and is equidistant from both Astoria Blvd and 30th Avenue N/W trains. About a 15 minute walk to the Steinway M/R train. 30th Ave is filled with restaurants, bars, brunch places, a great bagel shop, liquor store, grocery stores, green grocer, Duane Reade, Rite Aid and New York Sports Club. Everything is within a five minute walk of the apartment. No laundry in the building but there is a laundromat down the block (they also do fluff & fold and deliveries). Bodega downstairs for last minute items! Astoria is a great neighborhood -- quick commute to the city and lots to do on the weekends and at night from great Greek food, to easy access to nearby waterfront park and public pool. Greenpoint/Williamsburg easily accessible (by Uber its only 15-20 min depending on traffic). 10 minutes from LGA.
