I work in Midtown from 10-6pm and like to keep a quiet home during the week. I have a cat who is very friendly and inquisitive, so cat lovers would be great. I'm more neat in common areas than I am in my personal space, but that shouldn't affect you. I value open and honest communication so someone who is willing to be direct about what they want and expect is important to me. I would like to be friendly with my roommate and hang out on occasion if we both have the time.

Greenpoint bedroom w/ private bath
THE ROOM:
- Big enough to comfortably fit up to a queen bed (a Full is featured in the photos), dresser, and/or desk
- Includes a built-in closet and has a private bathroom attached
- Receives plenty of sunlight in the morning and tends to be cool in the evening (rear-facing); quiet and away from traffic at night
THE APARTMENT:
- Top/3rd floor two bedroom, two bathroom unit
- Comes fully furnished, with the exception of the bar cart + TV which my old roommate will take (if you have a sofa or rug however, I would be happy to replace our old ones with them!)
- Bedrooms are located at the opposite ends of the apartment for maximum privacy
- No windows in the living room but with the lights on, it’s not that noticeable
- Heat/HW water included; electric/gas/internet is only about $40 a person per month (can be as low as $30 in the winter, as high as $60 in the summer)
THE LOCATION:
- Five minute walk from the laundromat
- Five minute walk from McCaren Park, which includes a Recreational Center w/ gym and swimming pool
- Right next to the B43 Bus Stop which takes you to the Graham L Subway
- An otherwise ten minute walk to the Graham L stop, and an eight minute walk to the Nassau G stop
- Placed between Williamsburg and Greenpoint: on the Graham Ave side you will get towards East Williamsburg while on the Manhattan Ave side, you will get towards the “main” Greenpoint area and the main Williamsburg Bedford Ave strip is just on the other side of McCaren Park
- TONS and TONS of restaurants, bars, and thrift shops
