Greetings everyone.....I am a 44 year old s/w/f. I am looking for an immediate roommate or room to rent. I would prefer that you are already established as I need housing ASAP, however I will also consider a new place for both of us. My boyfriend and I just broke up and we have to be out by the 1st of January, 2019. Gender is of no importance to me, as long as you can behave yourself in a professional manner. I am not looking or even willing to consider a friends with benefits arrangement! I'm just fine with paying for my own living expenses. Now that I got that out of the way hahahahaha......I'm a very spontaneous and fun loving person. Also very open minded and non judgmental. 420 friendly but not interested in it myself. My ideal roommate will be clean, CONSIDERATE (of my feelings, wishes, privacy, room and belongings) . I'm a VERY territorial type person, meaning I do not like people messing with my belongings (clothes, hair brush, hair spray, shampoo or ANYTHING IN MY ROOM). I love to cook and would be happy to cook every meal if the cost of food can be shared equally. Otherwise, we can just pay for our own food and respect what isn't ours. I am far from selfish, I'll give the shirt off my back for anyone but I don't appreciate someone assuming that so they just take it, if that makes sense. A roommate can be a miserable or amazing addition to ones life. I want to just say this......I will think of you before I say, do or plan anything and I hope you will do the same. Pets are wonderful, however I've not been too impressed with having them in the house. I am not tolerant of accidents and/or messes pets tend to make. If you are confident that your pet is that awesome then I am fine with the idea. I can't stress enough the importance of no messes/accidents!!!!!!!!!!!!! Company or family visiting? Hmmm...this can be a touchy subject, I MIGHT someday have a guest. If I were to have a guest it will not be often, if ever, and of course I will consult with you before arranging to have a guest. I don't have family that would visit, I have to visit them, they are too far away. So basically the only guest I could foresee ever having will be a future boyfriend? I moved here from Oklahoma and thanks to my boyfriend I don't have friends lol. This may change, and if it does, again I will consult you before inviting ANYONE to our home. I only ask that you give me the same respect. So in a nut shell.....the only things I can see interfering with our arrangement is unexpected guest, helping yourself to my personal things, nasty pets, not paying your portion of the bills on time, or at all. This may sound like I'm a nit picky and nagging type person but I can assure you, I'm a very fun and easy going gal! If we both practice "what if the rolls were reversed, how would we feel"?, then we will get along great!!! Honestly I think it's just common sense and civilized. After-all we are human beings not monkeys lmao! Right? Oh just a few more things....I am self employed and can be home a lot, or be gone a lot. I don't ever party, with the exception of say New Years and maybe my birthday, but I do smoke cigarettes (NOT IN THE HOUSE, YUCK!). I have nothing against alcohol or whatever you like to do on your down time. Let's keep that your business, as long as you can be a grown up and get yourself up for work and pay your bills then I could care less. Just don't bring me down because of something your doing or not doing please. I'm going to close for now and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. If it's a concern then it's not a stupid question. This arrangement can and hopefully will last for a long time so we've got to make sure that we're compatible at the very least. I would love to hear your do's and don'ts as well as your pet peeves. Please don't be shy either. There's no way for us to know, unless we ask!
