I'm a pretty low-key guy. I like to travel and have lived a bunch of places. I'm not OCD but I like to keep a clean, neat place. I also like cooking and making drinks (former bartender), so tend to do a good bit of experimenting in the kitchen on the weekends.

(My current roommate has a guest this weekend. I'll post a pic of the room as soon as I can)
~7 year old building in East Harlem. It has everything you could need (concierge, courtyard with grill, party room, exercise room, etc). It's close to public transportation (4/5/6 trains 2 blocks away; Bx15/M100/M60/M15 buses 1 block away) and there's a pay garage next door (though my last roommate didn't have a hard time finding street parking). There's a dry cleaner and deli next door, grocery store a few blocks away, and also a 15 minute walk/5 minute bus ride to East River Plaza (Target, Costco, Old Navy, Aldi, etc).
The layout of the apartment is ideal in that the rooms are at opposite ends, so you have plenty of privacy when you want it. You'd also have your own full bathroom with shower. The room is spacious and comes furnished with a queen-sized bed that still allows plenty of space. The apartment also has a stacked washer & dryer, dishwasher, granite countertops in the kitchen, hardwood floors, etc. The area isn't as gentrified as further west (which is why you can get this much space so cheaply), but the people are really cool and it's walking distance to the typical Harlem spots (though I like the vibe of a lot of places I can walk to on the east side).
Any questions feel free to ask.
